I usually date men. But I have a strong old fashioned view of this age-old question. Apologies to hardcore feminists - I love you all, but, but, but, I would insist on paying if dating a woman. When dating men, I like to take it in turns. To pay for dinner, that is. Anyways.... is it sexist to pay? Ladies, gentlemen, nonbinary homo sapiens - how far do we go with social constructs and gender stereotypes? Be honest, how does it feel when your date pays? When they open the door for you? Is this based on gender norms or is it simpler than that? I know when a guy pays for me, opens the door, I think to myself 'what a gentleman'. Is that a bad thing? The floor is open for discussion, be kind folks, for God’s sake be kind. :-) xx
